  The edding in-line 12 inkjet printer enabled us to move from stickering each pack by hand, to a semi-automated coding process. We wanted to implement a solution which increased the well-being of our operator, by reducing the effects of repetitive strains associated with hand stickering thousands of products a day. This has been achieved and we’re now able to code our batches quicker too.

  We’re making Yorkshire’s first single malt whisky in Hunmanby, North Yorkshire. As our business grows and we move into international markets, the requirement for batching our bottles of whisky has become essential.   We bought an edding portable 25 printer in October 2020 to help us to improve the process of marking our pallets with regulatory markings and data. Historically we used ink fountain brush and stencils for marking but we needed a process to improve speed and quality of the markings. The edding portable has saved us from weekly hassles and problems when exporting pallets – to do with identifying our regulatory markings. The printer has hugely sped up the process for us and offers the versatility to mark in smaller areas now too.

  Support has been excellent from edding UK with any queries or issues resolved quickly and efficiently. The printer is regularly updated with new features via new firmware and ink cartridges are easy to order through the UK office. The cartridges get to us within 2-3 days.

  edding has delivered an in-line printer to us. This is used in a demanding environment with a lot of dust on a wood panels production line. The included flexible mounting brackets allowed us to install it in the production line with no need for major modifications. The features for taking lengthy data directly from eye-vision camera measurement system and inserting the data into a design with logo and adjustable sizes on the text was easy to implement and get running.  After some trial and error in the start we now have a great consistent result with the SP ink and will be adding our second edding printer shortly.
